Composed by GRAMMY®-winner Danae Xanthe Vlasse, this concert features a GRAMMY®-acclaimed cast: sopranos Sangeeta Kaur and Hila Piltmann, tenor Omar Najmi, and pianist Robert Thies.

This collection of lush Romantic symphonic tone poems combine operatic elements with virtuostic piano writing, and interweaves narration to celebrate some of the most iconic myths from ancient Greece.

This amazong evening includes White Christmas, Little Drummer Boy, Jingle Bell Rock, and island holiday favorites. 

Acclaimed Spanish composer Oscar Navarro’s tour-de-force work for clarinet and orchestra comes to life, performed by Fort Smith Symphony Principal Clarinetist Andrew Deboer.

Then, the world premiere of Symphony No. 2: “Remission” by composer-in-residence Patrick Conlon – a deeply personal and powerful new symphonic work.

The symphony will be recorded for the next Fort Smith Symphony release on Divine Arts Records, produced by Christina Giacona, whose work includes five GRAMMY®-nominated albums. The album will feature four compositions by Conlon, all commissioned by the Fort Smith Symphony.
