Earquake 2026
CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE
Where music meets art, imagination takes the lead.
EarQuake is more than a field trip—and more than a music lesson. It’s an opportunity for students to listen, imagine, make, and collaborate.
Art teachers play a special role in helping students connect what they hear with what they see, feel, and create. Together, we can show students that the arts don’t exist in separate boxes. They inspire one another—and give us tools to think creatively for the rest of our lives.
Choose your adventure and create something extraordinary together.
This year, EarQuake invites 5th graders to choose their adventure. Students will experience a live performance by the Fort Smith Symphony, then work together with their classmates and art teachers to create artwork inspired by the music.
Their creations will be displayed at the concert, turning the concert hall into a celebration of what happens when different kinds of art come together.
Because creativity doesn’t belong to just one art form. Music, visual art, imagination, and collaboration help young people become creative thinkers for life.
Pick an adventure. Make something together. Bring it to life.
Art must be delivered to the Fort Smith Symphony in Downtown Fort Smith by September 30, 2026.
Canvases may be provided. Contact at the link below to inquire about eligibility.
Artwork will be hung on 2x4ft free hanging boards. Please consider these restrictions when creating your art.
